About MACS IVC cages :-

We have introduced two types of cages for our MACS IVC system one is Flex Air Leak tight cage and another is Gentle Air Cage. Our both types of cages are designed to be operated in Positive as well as negative pressure. Positive or Negative pressure to offer simultaneous two way protection- to the animal and to the lab. Depending on your research need.

A MACS IVC system can either set up as Flex Air, Gentle Air or Rat cage ventilated system. Most versatile patented Flex Air IVC for Mice is a sealed cage and can be used for BSL2/BSL3 type experiments in which the animal might be infected with pathogens dangerous to people so now researcher can use this system for Nude or Immuno-suppressed mice and also for Transgenic animals. Positive or Negative pressure to offer simultaneous two way protection- to the animal and to the lab. Depending on the cage system you need. Besides this remote monitoring through RS232 is also possible with our MACS IVC system.

As per international cage space guideline for animals used in Biomedical Research, Our both types of cages can accommodate 6 adult mice of 25gm or plus weight.

We provide IQ/OQ/PQ for the MACS system as per cGLP guidelines. Besides this we have QC test report so you know the unit was tested in the factory, calibrated and working correctly before shipment AD can provide you various types of test repots on our IVCs i.e. Leakage test, Air change validation report etc for cGLP facility SOP’s requirement on request.
