CAGE WASHING{{Animal Science}}

The Basil line of products are designed for high capacity, efficient cleaning, sanitization and drying of animal cages, racks, debris pans, feeder bottles and other miscellaneous items used in the care of laboratory animals. This innovative cage washer can be interfaced to a vaporized hydrogen peroxide generator allowing for high level decontamination of heat sensitive items.

With environment protection in mind, STERIS has developed several green features such as the optional air heat recovery system, a looped drain cool down with chilled water system, and the programmable water saving feature that significantly reduces cycle time, as well as water and steam consumptions. The standard water pre-heating system contributes to shorten cycle times and increase productivity. Pure water final rinse, HEPA filtered drying system and standard thermal disinfection provide higher sanitation and drying performance. When the central spray header system is used they can process up to 184 standard mouse cages per cycle. The automatic side sliding door allows for saving critical floor space in front of the washer.
