Sterilization processes in the pharmaceutical industry require high quality pure steam with accurate pressure control and response times. Additionally, over the past few years the removal of non-condensable gases has become an important challenge for pure steam generators. The new Finn-Aqua T-Series Pure Steam Generator is the answer to all of these challenges.

To meet these requirements the Finn-Aqua T-Series Pure Steam Generator comes with a number of unique features. It has a new patented process, which for the first time, combines the benefits of the "thin falling film" and "thermosyphon" operating principles. Together with the standard proportional capacity control feature, the result is very fast response times and a high pure steam quality throughout the range of static and dynamic pure steam demands.

The core of the Finn-Aqua Pure Steam Generator is its separator column - a new compact design falling film evaporator (patent pending) that removes impurities at high velocities. For effective gas removal the column has an integral gas separator.

Unique to the Finn-Aqua PSG is that non-evaporated feed water is continually re-circulated back to the process, resulting in the effective sanitization of pipework, and lower feed water and plant steam consumption.

Another distinct advantage of the Finn-Aqua T-Series Pure Steam Generators is that the customer can select from a range of advanced PLC control systems. This streamlines control functions and improves interfacing with other process systems. The choices are Siemens, Allen-Bradley or a West N6100 unit controller.

The Finn-Aqua T-Series Pure Steam Generators also meets or exceeds all major design, manufacturing and performance compliance requirements. These include standards such as US, European and Japan pharmacopoeia for WFI, ISO 9001:2000, EN-729-2, GAMP, U.S. cGMP and FDA requirements, relevant EU directives and many more.

The recently inaugurated unique FAT center, at the factory in Tuusula, Finland, brings together the latest technologies and our experienced team of test engineers to give the Finn-Aqua Pure Steam Generators a full evaluation before shipment - ensuring that its design, manufacture and operation are 100% as specified. Test bays fully simulate the customers' specific plant conditions and all test results are precisely documented.
