The Finn-Aqua Multiple-Effect Water Still doesn't
just produce distillate that meets US, European and
Japan Pharmacopoeias for WFI. It is also equipped
with key new features to ensure suitability to various
customer needs and operational environments. New to
the process is the blow-down removal from each column
feature, enhancing the quality of the WFI produced,
as well as the new condenser design. Distillation
against backpressure in WFI tanks, recirculation of
non-evaporated feed water, continuous blow-down measurement
are some of the other new and unique process features
only available in the Finn-Aqua T-Series design.
The core of the Finn-Aqua Multiple-Effect Water Still
is its separator column - a new compact design falling
film evaporator (patent pending) that removes impurities
at high velocities. For effective gas removal the
first column has an integral gas separator while the
consecutive columns has gas outlet ports. The compact
design of the column has also made it possible to
reduce the overall height of the equipment.
A distinct advantage of the Finn-Aqua T-Series Multiple-Effect
Water Still is the advanced control systems. The choices
are the latest PLC's from Siemens and Allen-Bradley
with streamlined control functions and improved interfacing
with other process systems.
The Finn-Aqua T-Series Multiple-Effect Water Still
also meets or exceeds all major design, manufacturing
and performance compliance requirements. These include
standards such as US, European and Japan pharmacopoeia
for WFI, ISO 9001:2000, EN-729-2, GAMP, U.S. cGMP
and FDA requirements, relevant EU directives and many
more.
The recently inaugurated unique FAT center, at the
factory in Tuusula, Finland, brings together the latest
technologies and our experienced team of test engineers
to give all the Finn-Aqua Water Stills a full evaluation
before shipment -ensuring that its design, manufacture
and operation are 100% as specified. Test bays fully
simulate the customers' specific plant conditions
and all test results are precisely documented. This
ensures a smoother and faster on-site qualification
- again, saving you both time and money.
