Common cage units used by all SmartRack™ versions allow clients to specify two or three different types of SmartRack™ for different scientific purposes within the same facility, whilst minimising spares expenditure and storage space.

SmartRacks™ are available in a range of additional forms including MiniSmart™ and BioZoneGlobal’s unique DuoZone™ capability for BSL3+ containment. Several options including Telemetry, Activity Monitoring, Temperature Control and Humidity Control are also offered.

The SmartRack™ Range is the latest series of IVC products available from BioZoneGlobal. Available in three forms, (SmartRack Basic™, SmartRack Plus™ and SmartRack Extra™), these recent additions to BioZoneGlobal’s product range allow clients to specify the exact product suited to their specific research needs and budget.

With the option of three products, the SmartRack™ Range is therefore suited to a multitude of different applications ranging from general housing and breeding to quarantine and BSL3 applications. Utilising innovations developed through the VentiRack™ Range, all three versions of the SmartRack™ feature a first-class ventilation system, which, uniquely, balances uniform cage pressure throughout the rack. Furthermore, excellent cage ergonomics and extremely efficient use of space make the SmartRack™ Range both highly practical in terms of everyday usage and highly cost-effective.

SmartRack Basic™ An excellent basic ventilated rack suitable for general housing and breeding colonies. The single manifold system is capable of working at positive or negative pressure.

SmartRack Plus™ This double manifold system offers the option of HEPA filtration both on supply and exhaust and therefore containment and protection for special colonies. DigiFlow™ is available as an option.

SmartRack Extra™ The ultimate in ventilated racks incorporating the unique BioZoneGlobal DigiFlow™ advanced microprocessor for automated monitoring and control of airflow. Suitable for the most discriminating demands including quarantine and BSL3.
